Sewing

Here is a great place to start talking about my sewing!
I have been sewing since I was 10 years old when I started in the local 4-H Sewing Club. I did get to the point where I became a leader and taught others to sew.
I have taken on many challenges, including reupholstering kitchen chairs, stools, and even some pieces from trailers! I will say there hasn’t been a challenge I haven’t taken on, but now know those which I will not be doing again!
I have decided not to continue doing major alterations but will still do hemming and some of the smaller alterations so the only way to know if I am able to help is to contact me with the information of what you would like help with and I will let you know right away if I am able to help you out.

Face Masks

Face Masks

I have a few different styles that I make and have come up with a favourite for me, but everybody has their own version of what works best for them. They can be made with elastic behind the ears or over/behind the head. I do not have hearing aids that fit behind the ears but have heard from customers that using the over/behind the head works well for them. I don’t stitch the elastic in but form a casing on each side of the mask and thread the elastic through and then use either a silicone stopper, or for over/behind the head a toggle, and this makes them adjustable for individual comfort.
